This rally in Sacramento on June 22nd was part of a nationwide emergency protest to say "No War on Iran". The protestors expressed that the Trump Administration's bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities is a war crime, unprovoked, violates the UN Charter, international law and the US Constitution, and threatens to set into motion a regional or even global war and nuclear radiation. Some of the speakers expressed the view that the statements and actions of the Israeli government and their role in the conflict is hypocrisy given Israel's documented history of noncompliance with international nuclear non-proliferation efforts and gross abuse of human rights.

Protestors also expressed their view that rather than spending destructively abroad in the interests of billionaires, weapons manufacturers, e.g., the US should instead spend constructively at home to address the inadequacy of healthcare, education, jobs, etc. The rally was endorsed by ANSWER Coalition, Sacramento Peace Action, Palestinian American League, Jewish Voice for Peace, Code Pink, Party for Socialism and Liberation, Peace and Freedom Party, and Democratic Socialists of America.

In California, voter registration is very important to political parties. The very existence of a political party as “ballot-qualified” is determined by the number of votes its statewide candidates receive or by the number of voters registered with the party. As the only feminist socialist political party on the California ballot, it is imperative that the Peace and Freedom Party continues as a qualified party.

Quite simply, the Peace and Freedom Party will not be able to provide Californians with candidates that will represent us unless we register and vote Peace and Freedom.

For all the information you need on registering to vote, visit the California Secretary of State's homepage at SOS.Ca.gov or just click here.

Thank you for registering Peace and freedom Party, and thank you for your vote!
