The No Kings rallies, such as the ones held in Riverside, Sacramento, and Los Angeles, were a series of protests held on June 14, 2025 against Trump Administration policies and actions of authoritarianism and democratic backsliding. The protests coincided with a large-scale military parade in Washington, D.C. celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army and Trump's 79th birthday. The "No Kings" theme was chosen by the 50501 Movement. The coalition of organizers, including MoveOn and ACLU, estimated that millions of people participated in over 2,000 locations across the US and other countries.

Over two thousand people gathered on the California State Capitol grounds in Sacramento to participate in the No Kings rally. The PFP table was near the center of the event surrounded by the crowd. Sacramento County PFP nearly exhausted their supply of bumper stickers, T-shirts, and literature, were visited by several people who happened to already be registered with the PFP, and assisted others in registering to vote.

In California, voter registration is very important to political parties. The very existence of a political party as “ballot-qualified” is determined by the number of votes its statewide candidates receive or by the number of voters registered with the party. As the only feminist socialist political party on the California ballot, it is imperative that the Peace and Freedom Party continues as a qualified party.

Quite simply, the Peace and Freedom Party will not be able to provide Californians with candidates that will represent us unless we register and vote Peace and Freedom.

For all the information you need on registering to vote, visit the California Secretary of State's homepage at SOS.Ca.gov or just click here.

Thank you for registering Peace and freedom Party, and thank you for your vote!
