Left Unity Slate of candidates in March primary endorsed by PFP

A slate of seven candidates for Congress and Assembly has announced itself as the Left Unity Slate. Five are Peace and Freedom Party members, and two are Green Party members. All have been officially endorsed by the Peace and Freedom Party for the March 5, 2024, primary election.

For State Assembly, Kevin Martinez of Sacramento County is running in the 6^th District, while Babar Khan of Riverside County is running in the 71^st District; both are with the Peace and Freedom Party. And Shannel Pittman of Los Angeles County, a Green Party member, is running in the 52^nd District.

For US House of Representatives, Green Party member Sean Dougherty is running in the 19^th District, which includes Monterey and Santa Cruz plus parts of Santa Clara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Peace and Freedom Party members running for Congress include William Patterson in the 28^th District, located in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties; and Aaron Reveles in the 34^th District and John Thompson Parker in the 37^th District, both in Los Angeles County.

We will shortly post more information on all these campaigns. Voting will be in the primary election of March 5, with mail voting beginning in early February.
