Sacramento activist Linda "LR" Roberts (at left) signed her declaration of candidacy and took the oath and will now be on the June 2 primary ballot for State Senate in the 8th District. Her campaign gathered enough signatures in lieu of filing fees to reduce her filing fees and meet the nomination requirement. Peace and Freedom Party candidate Roberts, long active in many organizations, will be campaigning very actively from now until the election.
