Peace and Freedom Party had previously voted to support four federal bills regarding three issues that Peace and Freedom Party has supported for years: the right to organize unions, a federal single-payer healthcare system, and Ranked Choice Voting. Now, Peace and Freedom Party has voted to support two new bills, collectively called the Voters Choice Act which have just been introduced as S.2939 (Bennet and King) in the U.S. Senate and as H.R.5500 (Phillips) in the U.S. House of Representatives.

This act would provide $40 million in federal grants to states and cities to cover up to 50% of the costs to transition to Ranked Choice Voting. If passed, the adoption of Ranked Choice Voting across the country could be hastened.
